I'm an Aucklander (ex-Westie) who returned to Auckland after spending time studying in the United States, and working in Canada and Otago.

I enjoy getting out in the wilderness and have been lucky enough to have experienced many amazing places from as far south as Scott Base in Antarctica, and as far north as Alaska.

I am a keen sea kayaker and have enjoyed many paddling adventures and expeditions. in 2014 I was part of a small group that did a kayak expedition to the Kermadec Islands, and in 2019 I kayaked across Cook Strait to spend ten days paddling around D'Urville Island and Pelorus Sound.
